Dhaka: The High Court has suspended for six months the recruitment process of the candidates who have passed the 21 districts of Dhaka and Chittagong Division in the third phase of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Test-2023 in Government Primary Schools. At the same time, it has been ordered to investigate within three months the allegations of question paper leakage in the written examination.
In view of the writ application of 15 candidates, Justice Mostafa Zaman Islam and Justice SM Masud Hossain Dolan gave this order along with the High Court bench rule on Tuesday (May 28).
Lawyer Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon was in favor of the application in the court. Â
He said that questions were leaked in the third phase of the government primary school assistant teacher recruitment exam. And many have given the exam on this leaked question. The results of the third phase of the examination have already been published. Due to this, questions have been raised about the published results. Therefore, some examinees from Dhaka and Chittagong filed a petition in the High Court seeking the investigation of question leak and suspension of the examination process.
On April 21, the results of the written examination of 21 districts of Dhaka and Chittagong Division of the third phase of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam-2023 in Government Primary Schools were published on Sunday (April 21).
The oral examination of 46 thousand 199 candidates will be held from June 9.
This exam was held on March 29. There were 3 lakh 49 thousand 293 candidates. The recruitment circular was published on 14 June 2013.
